Directions to Terramar Surf Spot
From the North:
-
Take the I-5 SOUTH.
-
Exit Cannon Road and
turn RIGHT and head WEST.
-
Continue over the
railroad tracks and through the stop sign.

When you come to the
T, which is Carlsbad Blvd/Old Highway 101, turn LEFT
so you are heading SOUTH.
-
Begin SOUTH for about
1/4 of a mile. There is a very large brown and tan house
on your RIGHT and the beach access is just SOUTH of that
house.

Parking is located on
the side of Old Highway 101 right after the beach access.
From the South:
-
Take the I-5 NORTH.
-
Exit Cannon Road and
turn LEFT and head WEST.
-
Continue over the
railroad tracks and through the stop sign.

When you come to the
T, which is Carlsbad Blvd/Old Highway 101, turn LEFT
so you are heading SOUTH.

Begin SOUTH for about

From Inland North
County:

Take the 78 WEST.
-
Take the I-5 SOUTH.

Exit Cannon Road and
turn RIGHT and head WEST.

Continue over the
railroad tracks and through the stop sign.

When you come to the
T, which is Carlsbad Blvd/Old Highway 101, turn LEFT
so you are heading SOUTH.

Begin SOUTH for about
1/4 of a mile. There is a very large brown and tan house
on your RIGHT and the beach access is just SOUTH of that

*Please note: There a lot of
different ways to reach this spot by using side roads and other highways.
It’s all a matter of preference and accessibility. I've found these to be
the easiest and least confusing of the bunch. Enjoy!
