Directions to Grandview Surf Spot
From the North:
-
Take the I-5 SOUTH and Exit
La Costa Ave.
-
Turn RIGHT so you’re heading WEST.
-
Once you reach Old Highway 101, Turn LEFT and
begin SOUTH.

You will see apartment
buildings on your RIGHT hand side and turn will be
coming up.
-
Turn RIGHT onto
Grandview Ave. and begin up the hill. (If you reach
Leucadia Donut Shop, you've gone too far)

Drive up the hill
until you reach Neptune which is a one way street going
NORTH.

Turn RIGHT onto
Neptune and drive for about 300 yards.

The Grandview Parking
lot will be on your RIGHT hand side as Neptune becomes a
dead end.
From the South:
-
Take the I-5 NORTH and
Exit Leucadia Blvd.

Turn LEFT so you're
heading WEST.
-
Continue WEST down the
hill, through the Stop Sign.

You will arrive at a
stop light with train tracks right in front of it. Go
STRAIGHT through the light and turn RIGHT onto Old
Highway 101.

Head NORTH on Old
Highway 101 and look for the Leucadia Donut Shop on you
LEFT hand side.

Right after the
Leucadia Donut Shop, look for Grandview Ave.
-
Turn LEFT onto
Grandview Ave and begin up the hill.

Drive up the hill
until you reach Neptune which is a one way street going
NORTH.

Turn RIGHT onto
Neptune and drive for about 300 yards.

The Grandview Parking
lot will be on your RIGHT hand side as Neptune becomes a
dead end.
From Inland North
County:
- Take the 78 West.

Take the I-5 SOUTH and Exit
La Costa Ave.

Turn RIGHT so you’re heading WEST.

Once you reach Old Highway 101, Turn LEFT and
begin SOUTH.
- You will see apartment buildings on
your RIGHT hand side and turn will be coming up.
- Turn RIGHT onto Grandview Ave. and
begin up the hill. (If you reach Leucadia Donut Shop,
you've gone too far)
- Drive up the hill until you reach
Neptune which is a one way street going NORTH.
- Turn RIGHT onto Neptune and drive for
about 300 yards.
- The Grandview Parking lot will be on
your RIGHT hand side as Neptune becomes a dead end.
*Please note: There a lot of
different ways to reach this spot by using side roads and other highways.
It’s all a matter of preference and accessibility. I've found these to be
the easiest and least confusing of the bunch. Enjoy!
