Del Mar Streets Reef and Surf
The Reef:
The beach is almost all sand and very little
rocks can be found during the Summer months. As the sand
travels South for the Winter, more rocks will definitely pop
up and caution must be taken when that happens. Make sure to
take your time before just jumping in and try to know your
surroundings.
On 8th street, there is a
small reef formation that can product some awesome rides
when the swell is large enough. Look for this to break at
around 4 feet with a medium tide.
