Carlsbad Village Crowd and Culture
Not the best surf but still
a lot of people enjoying the day
Everything in the Carlsbad
area is really relaxed and friendly including the people,
surfers and breaks. I have surfed these waves and ended up
making a few friends out in the water during one session.
Everyone in these surrounding beaches seem to be there to
enjoy the sun, waves and sand.
From beginners on their
first wave to seasoned surfers tearing it up, Carlsbad seems
to have it all in terms of surfers so no matter what type of
surfer you are, you should feel comfortable.
Since there are so many
houses an apartments nearby, be sure to recognize that when
these beaches get good, there is a good chance that some
people might not be excited about strangers being in the
water. Just be sure to paddle out with a good attitude and a
positive point of view.
