Carlsbad Campgrounds
The Campgrounds at
Carlsbad are awesome to say the least. They are very well
maintained and very appealing to the eye and wallet! I have
camped in this park many times and I will contribute that
I've never had any sort of problem with theft, harassment or
noise while sleeping. I feel that the campgrounds are an
awesome place to spend a weekend and enjoy the fun waves
breaking right below the bluff.

The entrance to the
Carlsbad Campgrounds
Above is the entrance to
the Campgrounds and this is where you pay for your spot and
check in while returning to your camp site. The office is
small but inside you will be greeted by a friendly employee
that seem to do anything to make your stay more enjoyable.

The road leading through
the Campgrounds
This road will take
you North and South through the Campgrounds and to the exit.
It has a 15 MPH speed limit so please abide that and make
sure to watch for children or animals that might run in
front of you from a campground.

A beach front camping spot
This is a bluff camping
spot which puts you with a completely ocean front view and
one of the most amazing sounds to fall asleep to. I have a
personal favorite to staying in these spots because it's so
fun to walk out of your tent or motor home and see the ocean
right there. It's an awesome feeling.

One of the sets of stairs
leading down to the beach
There are several sets of
stairs leading down to the beach throughout the Campgrounds.
They are fairly easy to locate and I recommend trying to
locate a camp site close to these stairs so you don't have
to walk too far to get down to the beach.

One of the lifeguard
tower's
There are several
lifeguard tower's located on the beach in front of the
Campgrounds. They are open and running during the Summer
months and occasionally in the Winter and Spring. Please
make sure to note where the tower's are and if they have a
lifeguard in it. If you are there with children, make sure
to position them so the lifeguard has a good view of them
for safety.

The restrooms at Carlsbad
Campgrounds
There are restrooms,
showers and sinks located throughout the entire Campground
for convenience and necessity. They are very well maintained
and the sinks are awesome for rinsing off sand after a day
at the beach.
